Hillsong & Sydney Olympic Park

If I didn't come to Hillsong while I'm in Sydney, then I must be crazy. I've been collecting Hillsong's CD since the first time they release it. It's the biggest church in Australia and for years I've been considering to attend the conference that's held annually in that church. Well, that's for next time, today I'm just happy that I finally get to see the church and attend one of its Sunday services. Everything is so convenient, we only need to take a bus from home and the bus stop was only a few metre away from where we stayed. Even better, the whole trip took 15 minutes only. How good is that! I have talked to several people who had attended the conference before and they told me that the church was located far far away from the city and it's a real hassle to get there (if your accommodation is in the city). But, who knows that my mum's friend's house is just next door suburb from the church! So the next time I want to come for the conference, I know where to stay.

After church, we went to Sydney Olympic Park. We get to see the water feature where Cathy Freeman rode when she lit the olympic fire and other things, like the Monster Skate Park, Telstra Stadium, Harvey Norman big..big..sale (what the...?) and other spots that I couldn't remember. Yeah...as long as I can say, "I've been to Sydney Olympic Park" that's enough for me.
